A correctly designed and installed canopy and extraction system is essential in every commercial kitchen. Castle Catering Engineers designs, fabricates and installs bespoke stainless steel canopy systems for commercial kitchens of every type across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands — with gas interlocking system integration and CP42 certification included on every installation.

All work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers (Licence 597490), CSCS members and DBS Enhanced approved, meaning we can install canopy systems in any environment including schools, universities, care homes and hospitals without delay.

Every project starts with a free site survey. We assess your kitchen, existing infrastructure and ventilation requirements before designing a system that meets current UK regulations. Most canopy installations are completed within one to three days — we can schedule around your kitchen's operating hours to minimise disruption.

Common Questions

Yes. All commercial kitchens require suitable mechanical ventilation. Gas kitchens must also have a gas interlocking system integrated with the ventilation under BS6173. Castle Catering Engineers installs and certifies both in a single installation.

Yes. We design and manufacture stainless steel canopy systems to any size and specification — island, wall-mounted, multi-section and combined supply air units.

Yes. All engineers are Gas Safe registered (Licence 597490), CSCS members and DBS Enhanced approved — cleared for education sites without delay.
